ABHAAM CORP PVT LTD is the data fiduciary for personal data collected through this website. This notice is issued under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules, 2011.
1. Data we collect
We collect only what we need to quote, ship and invoice.
- Account data: name, business email, company, country, phone.
- Order data: commodity, quantity, Incoterm, destination port, packing and shipment notes.
- Correspondence with our trade desk stored against your order.
- Technical logs: IP address, browser type and page views, used for security and performance.
2. Why we process it
We process your data to create your account, respond to enquiries, prepare proforma invoices and export documentation, comply with customs, DGFT, FSSAI, APEDA and RBI requirements, and to keep statutory books under the Companies Act, 2013.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Who we share it with
Data is shared only with parties needed to perform the contract: customs house agents, shipping lines and freight forwarders, inspection and fumigation agencies, plant quarantine and customs authorities, our bankers, and our cloud hosting and email providers acting as processors under contract.
4. Retention
Export documents and related correspondence are retained for eight years as required under the Customs Act, 1962 and the GST rules. Account data is deleted within 90 days of a verified deletion request unless retention is legally required.
5. Security
Data is stored on access-controlled managed infrastructure, encrypted in transit over TLS. Database access is restricted by row-level security so a signed-in buyer can read only their own orders and messages.
6. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you may:
- Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct, complete or update inaccurate data.
- Ask us to erase data no longer needed for a legal purpose.
- Withdraw consent for marketing communication at any time.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your currency preference. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.
